Back in the 1950's and 1960's, trundle beds were all the rage along with corner unit twin beds, where one bed slipped under a table in the corner and bolsters were set against the wall to lean on.

Early in the 1970's, someone had the idea of putting a back and sides on the trundle bed and suddenly you had a nice piece of furniture called a daybed. Little girls loved them and have always been our best customers. They have figured out that you pull out the trundle, pop it up and sleep on that portion of the bed. You never sleep on the daybed unless you have company, and thus, you have made a bed at all times with baby dolls displayed and a constantly neat room.

Mr. Brumby is totally customer service oriented and gives his personal expertise to each order. All orders pass through his office and we rarely have complaints or problems. Beds are shipped to your door via Old Dominion Freight Lines. The driver will deliver the bed but will not put it together.
